When I was a kid in grade school, we'd often be told a story and then asked to draw a picture to go with it. The story of Beowulf and Grendel was one of my favorites because I could draw someone getting their arm ripped off without getting in trouble.

As the story goes there was a creature named Grendel who had killed 30 people in a hall. They brought Beowulf to try to take care or it, and well.... he ripped one of Grendel's arms off .

6 hours in photoshop CS1. I'm not sure if this is worth mentioning but the 6 hours directly followed the completion of the "sea monster summon" drawing. I'm starting to get the hang of texture brushes, and I now have a few that I use very frequently. 60 drawings in 90 days #10.

Comments, Critique and Advice are most welcome as always.

Time lapse videos to follow. Thanks for looking
